About Billy

Billy is the creator of the IMPACTT group-exercise format and a Major in the U.S. Marine Corps (Ret).

Billy’s fitness journey began with the Philadelphia Department of Recreation (PDR) swim team and Coach Jim Ellis(both the team and Coach Ellis were the subject of the motion picture “Pride”).   There Billy excelled as a competitive swimmer earning the attention of many Division I Universities, to include the U.S. Naval Academy.  He would accept the Academy’s offer and compete with the swim team for one season before shifting his athletic focus to martial arts.  As a martial-artist, Billy trained under Master John Critzos for nearly four years, earning his black belt before graduating from the Academy.

Billy service selected the U.S. Marine Corps upon his graduation.  Although he continued his training of various martial arts, he began to expand his training to include Pilates, Spinning, resistance training, and flexibility training.  He then obtained numerous fitness certifications and began to teach group-exercise.  Whether training Marines or college students, his energetic and FUN style has delivered amazing results the country over.  A charismatic instructor, his class and workshop participants quickly learn to appreciate his motto of “[w]e don’t stop… we can’t stop… we don’t know how to stop!”
